She was predeceased by: her parents, Clisba Wood and Marguerita Wood (Broughman); her husband Vance James Wissinger; and her siblings, John Robert Wood, Nadine Hayes, Mary Gasper, Cora May Ward and Avo Sleppy.
She is survived by: her son Vance James Wissinger Jr. of West Milton; and her sister Edith Cook of Greenville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
