He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Waldo and Leah "Maxine" Bailey (Rinaker); his granddaughter Summer Castro Howard; his brother Rene Bailey (Tana); and his niece Rachelle Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sue Bailey (Fisher); his children, Michael Bailey II (Meg), Patrick Bailey (Teresa), Mishael Castro, Letitia Fugate (Rodney), Giles Bailey (Kathy) and Shawn Bailey; his grandchildren, Chase, Makayla, Trevor and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Madyson, Grayson and Noah. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
