He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony C Kauflin and Cecelia E Kauflin (Kuhn); and his siblings, Dorothy, James, Rita, Cecelia, Jerome, Tony, Mary Ann, Martha and Joe.
He is survived by: his close friend Carolyn Lendenski; his children, John (Maria), Jim (Deborah), Jason (Cynthia) and Jane; and his grandchildren, Leona, Jackson, Amy, Rachel, Kevin, Judah, Ruth, James, Zora and Beatrix. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home (284 N Miami St, West Milton, OH 45383). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Transfiguration (972 S Miami St, West Milton, OH 45383). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Polk Grove Cemetery (9190 Frederick Pike, Dayton, OH 45414).
