He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E. Pinkerton and Katherine Pinkerton (Miller); his wife Sharyn Kay Pinkerton (Hoover); and his siblings, Larry Pinkerton and Marcia Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Kyle Pinkerton (Tracy) of West Milton, Tricia Puterbaugh (Dan) of Kaneohe, HI and Carrie Karshner (Brian) of Lewis Center; his grandchildren, Misty, Dean, Johnny, Rikki, Trace, Brooke, Eric, Abby and Luke; his great grandchildren, Annabella, Memphis, Grant, Carter, Khaled and Quinn; and his girlfriend Peggy Nihizer.
