He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Wood and Wanita Wood (Rogers); his brother Jerry Wood; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Gunston. He is survived by: his wife Carol Sue Wood (Meisinger); his daughters, Sue Waters (James) of Tipp City and Cathy Wood of Dayton; his brother Charles Wood (Hazel) of West Carrolton; his brother-in-law Don Gunston; his nieces and nephews, Marc, Diane Wood, Mark Gunston (Kris) and Karen Morphew (Michael); his close friend Bella; and his pets, Riley and Reagan.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, Union Township Life Squad or a charity of one's choice.
