He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Knepshield and Clara Knepshield (Long); and his siblings, Edna Kirby, Lahoma Jeanne Drury, Thomas Knepshield and William Knepshield.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Knepshield (Sprinkle); his children, Timothy, Marcia Knepshield of Union, James, Dawn Knepshield of Greenville, Julie and Winston Long of Richmond, Kentucky; and his brother David Knepshield of Florida. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchild.
