Carolyn Sakal Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2023, at the age of 80, Carolyn Sakal (West Milton, Ohio), born in Dayton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Sakal; her parents, Dan Angel and Anna Mae Angel; her mother-in-law Anna Szakal; her siblings, Geneva Davis, Eugene Angel (Doris) and Donald Angel; and her brother-in-law Kenny Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Corwin (Tom) of Portland and Michael Sakal of Union; her grandchildren, Kate Corwin-Olson (Jonathan) of New Hampshire and Ben Corwin of Portland; her sister Alene Edwards (Vandalia); her friend Gene Flaugher of New Lebanon; her sisters-in-law, Rosie Poppaw of Miamisburg and Jani Kreitzer (Glenn) of Florida; and also, Scott Flaugher (Andrea) and Michael Flaugher (Becky). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Flowers are welcome as Carolyn loved flowers, but any monetary contributions are asked to be made to Hospice of Miami County in Troy, Ohio.
