She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse A. Leist and Ella M. Leist (Simmons); and her brothers, Donald and John Leist. She is survived by: her husband Omer W. Hayes; and her daughters, Marcia Cox (Robert) of West Milton, Pamela Hayes (Larry Greenhaw) of Austin, TX, Teresa Santos (Roberto) of Mishawaka, IN and Marla Hayes (Marcos Paradissis) of Vermilion. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
