He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Denton and Catherine Mabel Armstrong (Gwinner-Ballinger); and his brother Paul Armstrong. He is survived by: his spouse Marion C. Shirk; his children, Jan Armstrong-Sammons (Jim) of Georgetown, KY and Gray Armstrong (Kim) of Crown Point, IN; his grandchildren, Autumn Biddle, L'Erin Meadors, Hunter Armstrong and Blade Armstrong; his great grandchildren, Payton and Emma-Lee Biddle; his great great grandchildren, Lane Meadors and Kinsley Armstrong; and his siblings, Carol Sue DeVaughn of Attica, John Armstrong of Republic and Don Armstrong of Bellefontaine.
