She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther "Dude" Atkinson and Zula "Pood" McDonald Atkinson; and her husband Richard "Dick" Pettit. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Foreman (Ken) and Dorra Gilmore; her brother-in-law Rick Hutchins; her grandchildren, Mike Foreman (Wanda), Shel-Leigh Sadler (Shawn), Shelby, Kamryn Gilmore and Cylie Whitt (Adam); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Brook, Colin, Hunter, Riley Foreman, Kaylee, Jayda Henry, Winston Williams, Declan Gilmore, IzaBelle Sadler, Connor, Ashton and Ava Whitt; her great great grandchild Kayson Smith; her brother Duane Atkinson (Charlene); and her sisters-in-law, Charlotte Potter and Sue Slusher. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the West Mansfield Methodist Church (212 E Center St, West Mansfield, OH 43358). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at the Greenlawn Cemetery.
