He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Farrington and Gladys Farrington (Brooks); his son Doug Farrington; and his siblings, Irene, Betty, Murl, Russell, Jim, Bob, Dick and Junior.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Farrington (Seaman); his children, Ken Farrington (Deb) of West Mansfield, Vicki Webb (Earl) of West Mansfield and Jodi Welch (Shawn) of Ridgeway; and his grandchildren, Cory Savage (Tami), Brian Savage (Kayla), Dustin Farrington (Amber), Chelse Hamilton (Shane), Tabitha Eatherton (Scott), Tasha Taylor (Zeb), Tyler Webb and Colton (Beth). He is also survived by several great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
