She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus D. Smith and Mary Rita Smith (Monnette); her husband Melvin Brewer; and her siblings, William David Smith, Edna Marie "Smitty" Ebersole and Harriet L. Smith.
She is survived by: her son Emanuel David Brewer of West Manchester; her nieces, Tracy (Conan Erisman) of Eldorado, Persephone Erisman of Eldorado and Christa Roberts of South Carolina; and her nephew Ben Roberts of South Carolina.
