He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Thompson and Edna Mae Thompson; his brother Larry; and his grandsons, Aaron, Beau and Cole.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Lynn Brinley (Thompson); his wife Candy Thompson; his son Kurt Thompson (Kendra); his grandchildren, Blake (Delaney), Mariah, Paige, Makena (Michael), Chase (Emily), Kaeden and Kenady; his great grandchildren, Ryelin, Grayson, Milah, Isla and Nash; his siblings, Joy Dearth (Steve) and Dean Thompson (Georgie); and his pet Minnie Moo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
