He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Emery and Vernice Waunita McPherson (Hurley); his daughter Coral Kerns; and his siblings, Janice Carol McPherson, Jim McPherson and John McPherson.
He is survived by: his children, Steven McPherson (Beth) of Panama City, Debra Butler of Bellefontaine and Linda Linville (Greg) of Pinehurst; his son-in-law John Kerns of North Ridgeville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Wes Kerns (Abby), Shawn Kerns (Tiffany), Jennifer Landry (Michael), Christina Beaird (Jesse), Dana Mullins, Michael LeVan III and Adam Butler (Jenny); and his siblings, Karen Weidenhamer (Bradley) of Ashland, Michael McPherson (Shirley) of Lewistown, Phyllis Jerviss (Larry) of Huntsville, Jeanie Shultz (John) of Ashland, Evelyn Hurley (Jim) of Lewistown, Marcia Stoffer (Dale) of Ashland and Herb McPherson (Tracy) of Huntsville. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
