He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Peter and Alice Eloise Gietzen (Defour). He is survived by: his wife Lori Gietzen; his children, Timothy Gietzen (Gyla) of Bellefontaine, Judy Lamb (Jeff) of Bellefontaine and Todd Gietzen (Sharyn) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Jennifer Swaisgood (Eric), Tye Gietzen (Sarah), Julie Cronkleton (Jonny), Sierra Gietzen (Ethan Snapp), Drew Gietzen (Katelyn Bolender), Adam Gietzen, Emily Gietzen, Emery, Oliver, Avery, Jonathan, Joannah and Mason; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Gietzen and George Goike.
For those attending the services masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
