He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl McClain and Florence McClain (Wysong); his sisters, Julia Bolen and Dorothy Miller; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Walborn and Charlotte Williamson.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher McClain, Theodore McClain (Stephanie), Susan Sloan and Penelope Jill Woodrum (Wayne); his grandchildren, Kelsey Brown, Theodore Richard McClain, Bo Garrett McClain, Brittney Jill Fehring (Drew), Rebecca Elizabeth Ruber (Adam), Amanda Jane Sloan, Adam Richard Sloan, Samuel Logan Pike and Casey McClain Pike; and his sisters-in-law, Paula Ann Pullins (David) and Jane Ford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
