She was predeceased by: her father Earnest Hines; her former husband John E. Piatt; her husband Roland "Red" Young; her daughter Denise Monica Piatt; and her siblings, Earnest Lynn Piatt, Reba Piper and Dottie Milledge.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Piatt of West Liberty and Dave Piatt of West Liberty; and her grandchildren, J. D. Piatt (Robin), Haley Neiderhauser (Andy), Angie Piatt Dixon and John D. Piatt (Summer). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
