He was predeceased by: his mother Susan Olivia Zimmer (Focht). He is survived by: his father Kenneth E. Zimmer; his wife Crenah K. Zimmer; his daughters, Amber Snyder and Katie Cooper (Cory); his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Allison, Sierra and Grayson Edward; his great grandchild Sawyer Jo; his sister Tammie Zimmer; his siblings-in-law, Charles Martin (Debi) and Lori Martin; and his mother-in-law Lillian Martin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
