It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Godwin of West Liberty, Ohio, born in Huntsville, Ohio, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Godwin and Diona Godwin (Cook); his brother Bill; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Godwin. He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Godwin (Oder); his sons, Duane Godwin (Amy), Steve Godwin, Shane Godwin (Angela) and Travis Comer (Amanda); his grandchildren, Lauren Godwin (Steve Price), Laine Cole (Ethan), Logan Godwin, Claire Godwin, Kassie Godwin, McKay Comer, Mason Comer and Katey Comer; his siblings, Phillip Godwin (Sheryl), Deane Godwin (Susie) and Nancy Novis (Ken); and his in-laws, John and Lisa Oder. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and special friends.
