She was predeceased by: her husband Shawn C. Young; and her father Myron Bernhart. She is survived by: her friend Mark Willis; her daughters, Chelsea Lowrey (Kevin) and Christina Renner (Ben); her mother Sarah Jane Bernhart (Miller); her grandchildren, Kameron, Gunner and Raegan; and her siblings, Sandy Bowen (Joe), Sharon Mickley (Doug), Shelia Feikert (Lynn), Randy Bernhart, Robert Bernhart (Angie) and Ronnie Bernhart.

Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery. in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Community Hospice Truman Hospice House, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
