She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Akins and Chloe Akins (Hawkins); her husband Dennis Israel; and her brother W. Eugene Akins. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Israel (Colleen) of West Lafayette and Pamela Grissett (Scott) of Coshocton; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Israel, Zachary Israel, David Israel, Carley Israel, Melissa McMillan (Jimmie) and Kimberly Starling. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and her niece and nephews.
