She was predeceased by: her spouse David Slovak; her parents, Orin Whyde and Helen Whyde; her children, David, Jr. and Christy Slovak; and her siblings, David Whyde and Myrna Whyde.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Smith (Keith) of Rock, WV and Becky Mason (John) of West Lafayette, OH; her grandsons, David Mason and Nathan Thompson; her great grandchild Liam Thompson; and her siblings, Sonny Whyde of Ohio, Linda Triscari and Cheryl Shaver. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a special niece.
