She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Howell and Grace Howell (Moffatt); her husband Frederick S. Hootman Jr.; and her brothers, Gerald Howell and Wayne Howell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Mullett (Mike) of West Lafayette, Michelle Stoffer (Todd) of West Lafayette and Mary Ann Hootman of West Lafayette; her grandchildren, Brianna Mullett, Tanner Stoffer, Lindsay Mullett and Trey Stoffer; her stepgrandchildren, Todd Stoffer Jr. (Heather) and Ashley Stipes (Crosby); her sisters, Margie Easterday (Sonny) of Coshocton, Louella Kerr (Jim) of Nashport and Carolyn Flowers (Richard) of Fresno; and her siblings-in-law, Milton L. Hootman (Katie) of West Lafayette, Betty Howell of Coshocton and Joan Howell of Fresno. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
