He is survived by: his wife Cathy Kobel (McDaniels); his son Bryan Carroll (Machiel) of West Lafayette; his brother Tom Kobel (Vicki); and his grandchildren, Blake Carroll, Kayla Kobel, Chase Carroll (Katlyn), Andrew Getchey (Erinn), Morgan Carroll (Devin) and Dylan Bryant. He is also survived by four great granddaughters; three great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
