He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Dreher and Marjorie Dreher of West Lafayette; and his close friend Dan C. Smith. He is survived by: his sister Leslie Herchline (Larry); his nieces and nephews, Laurel Linner and Lowell Herchline (Jenny); his brother Daniel Dreher (Candy); his children, Dane (Lori), Deanna Urasek (Greg), Derrick Dreher (Jennifer), Michelle Miller and Evie Collins (Matt); his sister Darla Markley (David); and his nieces and nephews, Dana Markley and Drew (Brianne).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Doug's name to local public radio station KPFT (Houston Pacifica Radio 90.1) or to public television station KUHF (PBS Houston, Ch 8).
