We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2020, Ruth M. Canney of West Jefferson, Ohio, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary and Clifford A. Goodnoh, Sr.; her husband John P. Canney; her siblings, Clifford A. Goodnoh, Jr. and Dorothy Paddock; and her brothers-in-law, Frederick Paddock and William Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, John Canney (Gail) of Gatlinburg, TN, Jane Downing (Pat) of Prior Lake, MN and Jim Canney (Melissa) of London, OH; and her friends, Bonnie and John Hamilton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson.
