He was predeceased by: his parents, William Moodspaugh and Lecta Mae Criner Bush; his wife Peggy Jean Gardner; his children, Robert Eugene Bush, II, Lecta Mae Bush and Tammy Kay Might (Randy); and his siblings, James Edward Bush, Roger Lee Bush and Karen Sue McCoy.
He is survived by: his son Bret B. Bush (Marilyn); and his sisters, Linda Kay Kemper (Roger) and Patricia Ann Watson (Jeff). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, half- brothers, one half-sister, step sisters, and one step brother.
