He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel R. Humphries and Minnie Humphries (Conley); his former wife Virginia Louise Humphries; and his siblings, Ottis, Earl Humphries, Garnet Stephens and Kathleen Locher.
He is survived by: his wife Olive M. Humphries (Brady); his sons, Ronald H. Humphries (Maureen) of West Jefferson and James L. Humphries (Deanna) of West Jefferson; his grandchildren, Eric Humphries (Liza) of Grove City, Allan Humphries (Devan) of Plain City, Dana Swyers (Calvin) of West Jefferson and Tammie Cooper (Chad) of Marysville; and his sister Ruby. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Donations may be made in his memory to the Southwest Freewill Baptist Church, Greenleaf Street, Columbus.
