She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur E. Persinger. She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Ward; her son-in-law Terry Ward; and her close friend Vicki McNeal. She is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson.
