She was predeceased by: her husband George M. Wendel; her parents, Larry Beasley and Eileen Beasley; and her siblings, Debbie Terry and Jimmy Beasley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Hutchison and Christine Haenszel (Bryan); her grandchildren, Sarah Wood (Ryan), Conner, Blake and Madison Haenszel; her great grandchild Gregory Wood; her siblings, Larry (Myra), Earl, Mike (Joni), John, Jerry Beasley, Caroline Beasley of California, Jean Caldwell (Tony) of Alabama and Janet Beasley; and her aunt Dee Dee.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Madison County Meals on Wheels, or Hurt-Battelle Memorial Library.
