He was predeceased by: his father John Auckerman; his stepfather Robert Watkins; his siblings, Eugene and Martha Bowling; and his grandparents, Edward, Jane Husted and Clarence Auckerman.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Auckerman; his daughters, Belinda Long (Mark) of Lima and Rhonda DeLong (Dave) of Galloway; his granddaughters, Sarah Hardy (Jesse) of Elida and Megan Long of Columbus; his great grandchildren, Julianne and Sadie Hardy; and his siblings, John Auckerman and Joanne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
