She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Jones and Cecil Jones (White) of Beallsville, Ohio.; her husband Lester Gates (Knobby); and her siblings, Larry, John Jones, Judy Richard and Sandra Wells.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Gates (Sandra), Larry Gates (Lisa) and Kathy Williamson (Billy); her grandchildren, Heather Saddler, Matthew Gates (Nicole), Zachary Gates (Jaime), Tara Turner (Jacob) and Adam Williamson (Heather); and her great grandchildren, Jessica, Ethan, Samantha, Drake, Megan, Lillian, Scarlett and Annie. She is also survived by five great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Madison County Meals on Wheels or the Good Samaritan Food Pantry in West Jefferson.
