She was predeceased by: her husband Don Gardner; her parents, Gerna Sr. Venters and Mary Venters (Morvauchik); her siblings, Johnny, Gerna Jr. Venters, Faye Hammond and Twila Sue Venters; her nephew Josh Venters; her niece Penny Venters; and her granddaughter Rosie Marie Stroud.

She is survived by: her children, David (Pam), Marc Gardner (Sandy) and Staci Stroud (Chris); her granddaughters, Erin Pedicini (Jason), Scarlet and Grayce Stroud; her great grandchildren, Owen and Ava Pedicini; her siblings, Patti Frissora (Joe) and Bill Venters; her sisters-in-law, Joy Venters and Phyllis Mason; and also Ada.
