He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hale and Doris Jean Vernon (Cambron); and his son Richard L. Trussel. He is survived by: his children, Phillip R. Hale, Jr., Candie L. Mott (John), Michael R. Trussel, Tanya M. Trussel, Chris Hale (Whitney) and Crystal J. Harper (Benjamin); his nieces, Glorlena Harper and Bobbie Sue Harvath; his close friend Vickie G. English; and his siblings, James Hale, Teresa Green (Kevin), Karen LaShum and Valerie Kendall. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel (141 N Meridian St, Ravenna, OH 44266). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
