She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Smith; her parents, Ertelle Housel and Eunice Housel; and her siblings, Bob Housel and Marcella "Teddy" Housel Lawrence.
She is survived by: her children, Darlinda "Iddy" Andrews (Bill) and Melvina "Muffet" Andrews (Scott); her grandchildren, Brent, Kimberly, Hilary and Abby Andrews; and her great grandchild Patton Smith Andrews. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
