He is survived by: his wife Ruth Scott-Wendt; his children, Linda Young, William "Bill" David Wendt II (Lori), Gary Wendt (Orvilla), Terry Wendt (Sandy), Carol Wendt and Tina Knight; and his stepsons, William "Bill" Scott and Bob Vernon Witt. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and other loving family members and friends.
