We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2024, at the age of 85, Violet Josephine Waigand in West Chester, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Violet Josephine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Violet Josephine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Zinser and Elleanor Zinser (Bezold). She is survived by: her children, Reggie Waigand (Angela), Karen Rush (late Doug) and Jim Waigand (Marcia Strickland); and her niece Sandy Campbell.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Franciscan University of Steubenville.
