He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smith and Louella Smith; and his wife Nancy Smith. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Smith-Hohne (David), Jeffrey Smith (Kim) and Ashley Smith; his grandchildren, Bailey, Austin, Ryan, Gavin, Aiden, Theodore and Kennedy; and his siblings, Patricia MacKinnon, Matthew Smith and Joanne Smith (Kevin O'Meara). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Association.
