She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Stubbemann and Mary Elizabeth Stubbemann; her former husband John Filgis; her husband Joseph Abbas; and her children, Betty Ann Adams, John Filgis Jr. and Debra Frederick.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Margaret'Peg'Newberry. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
