He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Audrey Smith; his son Jeffrey Smith; his sister Joanne Sharpe; his niece Joanne Nolan; and his nephew Michael Nolan.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Ann Smith; his children, Jason (Shanna), Justin, Jeremy, Jeanne (Charles), Jaye and Chrissie; his grandchildren, Cheyenne (Ben), Cassidy, Casey, Chase, Benjamin "Ben", Kathryn "Kat" and Riley; and his sisters, Jan Smith, Judie Curtis (Paul) and Jill Weschler (Sherman). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
