He is survived by: his wife Peggy "Margaret" Slade-Sowders; his children, Scott Sowders, Kim Sowders and Todd Sowders (Deana); his grandchildren, Kali Jones, Carlos Jones, Darian Sowders, Mackenzie Sowders and James Sowders; his sister Denise Glaab (Bill); his sisters-in-law, Sandi Banks (Ken) and Pam Gustafson (Andy); and his extended family Berny Wittek. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Freestore Foodbank, as Greg strongly believed that no child should ever go hungry.
