He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Gehring and Constance Gehring; his wife Lila Gehring (Field); his stepchild Jimmie Pickerill; and his brother Louis.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Paula Pickerill; his siblings, Josie, Rosemary, Gloria, Lois, Stephanie, Regina and Reggie; his grandchild Terry Pickerill (Cheryl); and his great grandchildren, Zoey and Joel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred's honor to any animal welfare charity of donor's choice.
