It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Ely of West Chester, Ohio, born in Dryden, Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fayette Ely and Mary Edith Ely (Early); his wife Barbara Ann Ely (Suttle); and his siblings, Tom Ely (Wanda), Opal Thomas (Dale), Judy Haynes and Christine Poe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debora Cunningham (Stan), Alissa Patterson (Adam) and Lora Hughes (Jared); his grandchildren, Eli, Anna Kate, Emery, Isaac, Ada Patterson, Savannah Hill (Tyler), Ross Hughes (Brittany), Hayden and Grayson Hughes; his great grandchild Layton Hughes; his sister Dorothy Leach; and his close friend Martie Young. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
