He was predeceased by: his parents, William Watson and Lottie Watson (late Bertha Watson); his son Michael Wright (Sherry); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Vaught (Dewayne) and Pamela Miller (late James); his grandchildren, Kim, Kelly (Keith), Colette (Jamie), Jimmy (Paige), Michael Jr., Janie (Josh), Aaron and Jodie (Tommy); his great grandchildren, Brandon, Allie, Elizabeth, Justin, Dylan, Kaylee, Trevor, Case, Karley, Joshua, Layla, Maci and Emmy; and his siblings, Bessie Kirby (late Leonard), James Watson (Nadine), Johnny, Glenn, Hattie, Alene, Elsie and Phyllis. He is also survived by several other brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can me made in his honor to Shriners Hospital for Children.
