He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dennis and Bertha Dennis (Bishop); his wife Wilma "Faye" Dennis; his daughter Sandra K. Schwarz; his daughter-in-law Susan Dennis; and his siblings, Donald, Larry, Sonny Dennis, Peggy and Jean Dennis.

He is survived by: his children, David Dennis of William Dennis, III, Gary Dennis (Christina) and Patricia Malicote (Jamie); his sister Jeri Dennis; and his grandchildren, Shannon, Jennifer, Stevie, Brandi, Chelsea, Jeffrey, Samantha and Andrew. He is also survived by several great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
