She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Smith and Gladys Smith; and her siblings, John, Terry "Bud", Veronica, William Smith and Nannie "Sandy" Pennington.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin G. Isham; her children, Gary L. Smith (Lori), Scherry A. Staley (Alan) and Angela D. Fryman (Blaine); her grandchildren, Eric Porter (Allison), Matthew Staley (Abbi) and Holly Bass (Steven); and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Carter, Paisley Porter, Averie and Hallie Staley. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to Dayton Children's Hospital Oncology services where her great granddaughter, Hallie Staley, received treatment. She was known for donating to children's charities throughout her lifetime.
