She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Stephens and Jewell Stephens (Reed); her husband Jack Hamby, Sr.; her grandson David Hurd; and her daughter-in-law Denise Wallace-Hamby.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Hamby, Jr. (Maureen), David Hamby, Steve Hamby and Rebecca Hurd; and her brother Virgil Stephens. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, her fur babies "Katie" and "Paw Paw" as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
