He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna G. Colon (Tincher) and Joseph G. Colon; his friend Frederick J. "Fred" Beard; and his brother David Colon. He is survived by: his wife Tamara Rae "Tammy" Colon (Tilton); his children, Casey Colon (Melani) and Kelley Prenat (Zach); his grandson Gage Prenat; his sisters, Sherry Sparks and Beverly Culbertson; and his friends, Wally and Don. He is also survived by numerous other family members and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Swart Funeral Home (207 E Central Ave, West Carrollton, OH 45449). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, 1661 Nicholas Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45417 in memory of Mr. Gene Colon.
