She was predeceased by: her parent James Duncan; her husband Woodrow "Woody" Bowman; her child Richard Adkins; and her siblings, Stephen Duncan, Naomi Krull and Betsy Kidwell.

She is survived by: her parent Grace Duncan (Watkins); her children, Terry Adkins (Kim), Jim Adkins (Christina), Joe Adkins, Susan Bavaro (Joe) and Julie Adkins; her brother Roger Phillip Duncan (Lou); and her brother-in-law Artie Kidwell. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
