He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Fortney and Lucille Rains; and his sister Sylvia Hall. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Fortney; his sisters, Joann Sowders and Judy Howe; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Miller (Joyce), Larry Hill and Jerry Miller (Bonnie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
